UDALGURI, Aug 21 - In yet another road mishap at Panery of Udalguri, 17 children were injured when the Mahindra Supro van they were travelling in overturned at Christianbasti area under Panery PS in Udalguri district at about 8.45 am on Monday.
The injured children were immediately rushed to Tangla CHC with the help of locals.
The children dressed up as Bol Bom devotees were reportedly going to attend religious programmes.
The attending doctors stated that the children are out of danger. The locals blamed rough driving to be the reason behind the accident. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
