GUWAHATI, April 8 - The 128 Batallion CRPF observed the World Health Day at its Batallion headquarter, 9th Mile here.
Wockhardt Ltd organised a free screening camp of diabetes at the Bn HQ. One hundred and fifty officers/ personnel were screened by Wockhardt Ltd. Surjit Kumar Atri, Commandant 128 Bn CRPF, Arvind P Anand 2I/C, Raju Kumar Singh D/C, Smt. Yamini Kunwar Bhati D/C, Dr Wasima Sultana M/O and chief guest Dr Nasimur Riaz Dibetologist/ Medical Superintendent of Hayat Hospital, SO�s and other ranks took part in the programme, a release stated.
Dr Nasimur Riaz gave a power point presentation on the topic diabetes and its preventive measures. �Depression� let�s talk� was theme for the year which was also discussed in length. Commandant Surjit Kumar Arti briefed the personnel regarding depression and measures to overcome the same. The tremendous efforts of Dr Nasimur Riaz and his team was applauded by the Commandant of 128 Battalion.
