GUWAHATI, June 24 - In order to cope with the surging cases of COVID-19 in Guwahati city, the 108 ambulance service authority today requisitioned an additional 12 ambulances from outside the city.
An official informed that these ambulances have been requisitioned from Morigaon and Kamrup districts and all of those will be used to carry COVID-19 patients only.
Kamrup (M) has 24 108 ambulances and has placed 10 of those on COVID-19 duty.
