JORHAT, Feb 12 - One person was killed and two others injured at Merapani-Uriamghat junction in Golaghat district yesterday morning when a Traveller passenger bus, reportedly on a long journey, hit three persons who were standing on the roadside.
According to a police source, Rajesh Singh (50) was killed on the spot, while Prasanta Kakati and Ali Hussain were seriously injured. The injured were shifted to the Jorhat Medical College and Hospital and are undergoing treatment.
