SIVASAGAR, July 20 - Zangam, a leading sports and cultural organization of Sivasagar celebrated its 30th foundation day with a day-long program on July 18.
Young cricketers were felicitated on the occasion who have performed creditably in the State and district level tournaments. An art competition was also organised for the students upto class X.
Zangam president Anil Bhagawati, unfurled the flag in the inaugural function and events like library opening, distribution of education related stationery goods to the children of Swapnaloy, the only children�s home of the town took place.
Manoj Bhagawati, ex Ranji cricketer, Hemanta Phukan, principal, Sivasagar Girls College, G B Baruah, Anarup Borpuzari, Ranil Bhagawati, Shamanta Ghosh and Abhijit Borpuzari were present on the occasion.
