GUWAHATI, Jan 27 - A brainstorming workshop on �National Information System for Climate and Environment Studies (NICES)� will be held on Monday at the Sudmersen Hall of Cotton University here, stated a press release. A discussion among potential collaborators from academia, state and central government institutions, NGOs, etc. will be held.
The workshop is being jointly organised by Northeast Space Application Centre, National Remote Sensing Centre, Hyderabad and Interdisciplinary Climate Research Centre , Cotton University. Individuals from different organisations across the North East will take part in the workshop.
