DIGBOI Nov 25 - A woman was looted of Rs 1.60 lakh today by two youths on a bike, while she was alighting from a rickshaw along with her daughter, near their Ananda Para residence.
The woman, Namita Chowdhury along with her daughter, had withdrawn the said amount from the UBI Bank branch located in front of the Digboi CRPF camp and were getting down from the rickshaw when they were robbed.
Though the matter was reported to the local police station immediately, the police is yet to make a breakthrough.
