Watershed Atlas of Mizoram released

AIZAWL, Oct 23 - Hailed as a boon for the development departments in the State, Watershed Atlas of Mizoram, developed by Mizoram Remote Sensing Application Centre (MIRSAC) under Directorate of Science & Technology was released by State Chief Secretary and MIRSAC Chairman Lalmalsawma here recently.

The Watershed Atlas would greatly help the various development departments in the State, he said on the occasion. There are 43 watersheds, 472 sub-watersheds, 939 mini-watersheds and 3,021 micro watersheds in Mizoram.
