TURA, April 7 - United Democratic Party (UDP) Saturday held a general meeting at Gajing in North Garo Hills (NGH) district reiterating its support for the MDA common candidate, Agatha K Sangma.
The meeting was attended by the party president and Meghalaya Speaker, Dr Donkupar Roy, working president Bindo Lanong, Baghmara MLA Samuel Sangma, State youth wing working president Anand Marak and a host of women leaders from the party.
The UDP has officially resolved to support the NPP candidate as reciprocation for the NPP�s support to the common candidate from Shillong LS seat, Jemino Mawthow of UDP.
