GUWAHATI, July 29 - Dakhin Mazbat High School, representing Udalguri district clinched the title in the 3rd Inter District School Girls Football Tournament (U-17).
In the final played at the Nehru Stadium here today the Udalguri girls edged past Naokata Milan HS School of Baksa district by a solitary goal.
The match winning goal was scored by skipper Ruhi Orang in the 56th minute with a lofted shot. Ruhi received the best player award.
Now the Udalguri school will represent Assam in the girls� U-17 Subroto Cup to be held in New Delhi in September. In the closing function Director of Sports Anjan Sarma gave away the prizes.
