JALUKBARI, Sept 11 - Gouripur police seized three trucks carrying cattle in North Guwahati around 3.30 am today and arrested three persons in this connection.
The trucks were illegally transporting the cattle from Alipurduar in West Bengal to Khanapara in Guwahati.
According to police sources, the arrested persons have been identified as Samir Akhtar Sheikh (26), Moinul Sheikh (19) and Adil Hussain (18). Three others managed to escape, sources added.
