TURA, May 23 � Thousands of coal-laden trucks were stranded along the National Highway (NH) 62 yesterday as a cyclonic storm and lightning left the only weigh bridge on the highway non-operational. An MLA on his way to Shillong through the highway witnessed trucks lined on the road from Rongjeng in East Garo Hills to Depa Sarangma in North Garo Hills, about 25 kms away.
