Tribune employee retires, accorded hearty farewell

GUWAHATI, Nov 30 - Tapan Bardoloi, advertisement manager of The Assam Tribune retired from service on Monday. He had joined the establishment on July 5, 1983.

Bardoloi was given a hearty farewell at a meeting presided over by president of the Assam Tribune Employees� Union (ATEU) Siba Prasad Deka on the Tribune premises.

Karuna Kanta Pathak, Pradip Kumar Biswas, Binu Talukdar, Swapnanil Sharma, Kishore Medhi, Niyoti Rani Sinha and others spoke on the occasion adhering to COVID protocol.

Bardoloi delivered a short and emotional speech recalling his association with the establishment and the love and cooperation that he had received from all in his service period.
