Train services regulated

GUWAHATI, April 25 - Train services in the Lumding-Silchar hill section, which had resumed yesterday evening with the movement of goods trains, had to be controlled again for a few hours today due to further landslides at four places this morning between Lumding and Badarpur.

Following the landslides, train services over the section were regulated till completion of restoration work. Railway officials immediately started restoration work at all the affected sites.

�After completion of restoration work and receiving track clearance, services were resumed at 1 pm today. But train are running at limited speed in the affected areas,� said Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) PRO Nripen Bhattacharya.
