SHILLONG, Nov 29 - The body of a 48-year-old man identified as Nikhil Dey was recovered from the Diengiong locality on the city outskirts on Saturday.
The deceased was a local taxi driver from Nongrimbah at Laitumkhrah in the State capital. He had gone missing on November 26 and a missing complaint was filed with the police.
The taxi of the deceased driver was recovered from Mawpat Circle-III.
Police have registered a murder case and further investigation is on.
