GUWAHATI, Sept 21 - The Maligaon-headquartered Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced that it will resume services of nine more pairs of trains which have been suspended since mid-August after floods hit eastern Bihar, snapping rail communication between the NFR zone and the rest of the country.
As per the new schedule, services of the 15651 Guwahati-Jammu Tawi Express will restart from September 25, while that of the 15652 Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Express will resume from September 27, the 12510 Guwahati-Bangalore Cantonment Express from September 25, the 12509 Bangalore Cantonment-Guwahati Express from September 27, the 15653 Guwahati-Jammu Tawi Express from September 27, the 15654 Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Express from September 22, the 12516 Guwahati-Trivandrum Express from September 27, the 12515 Trivandrum-Guwahati Express from September 24, the 15644 Kamakhya-Puri Express from September 28, the 15643 Puri-Kamakhya Express from September 30, the 12508 Guwahati-Trivandrum Express from September 29, the 12507 Trivandrum-Guwahati Express from September 26, the 15640 Kamakhya-Puri Express from October 1, the 15639 Puri-Kamakhya Express from September 26, the 15930 Dibrugarh-Chennai Express from October 1, the 15929 Chennai-Dibrugarh Express from October 5, the 19306 Guwahati-Indore Express from October 1 and the 19305 Indore-Guwahati Express from September 28.
�The other restored trains include the Rajdhani Express, North East Express, Kamrup Express, Kanchanjungha Express, Saraighat Express, Guwahati-Secunderabad Express, Kamakhya-LTT AC Express, Avadh Assam Express, Capital Express, Kamakhya-Gandhidham Express, Guwahati-Okha Express, New Tinsukia-Bangalore Express, Poorvattar Sampark Kranti Express and the Kamakhya-Bangalore Cantonment Humsafar Express,� said Pranav Jyoti Sharma, Chief Public Relations officer of NFR.
