GUWAHATI, Oct 1 - Sushil Chandra Mishra assumed the charge of Chairman and Managing Director of Oil India Limited from today.
An accomplished professional with cross-functional domestic and international experience, Mishra has over 35 years of experience in Oil India Limited (OIL).
He also holds a unique distinction of achieving OIL�s first ever overseas discovery as operator in Gabon, setting a foundation for OIL to carry out extensive exploration and production activities at global landscape for its growth.
Prior to taking over the charge as the CMD, he held the position of Executive Director (Rajasthan project), Jodhpur and was responsible for successfully implementing India�s first and deepest cycle system.
