NEW DELHI, Feb 12 - The Supreme Court today rejected the bail application of the prime accused of the Silapathar incident, Subodh Biswas.
The bench of Justices SA Bobde and Nageswar Rao turned down Biswas�s bail petition, which was opposed by the Assam government. The State government�s counsel pleaded that there is still a possibility of Biswas jumping the bail and escaping if he is released on bail.
