Students hurt in bee attack

AGARTALA, Nov 23 - At least 60 students and a few guardians were injured today when a swarm of bees attacked them at a park at Khowai in western Tripura. The injured students and the parents have been admitted to government hospitals for treatment.

�Around 60 students, along with some parents, had assembled at the park for a picnic when a bird hit a bee hive nearby after which a swarm of bees attacked the gathering,� a teacher of the Srikrishna Patsala said.

According to the doctors, the condition of the wounded students was not serious. � IANS
