SILCHAR, Oct 29: The situation turned tense at Radha Madhav road here on Sunday night after a clash between two groups who started pelting stones indiscriminately.
Police and CRPF jawans rushed to the spot to bring the situation under control.
Cachar SP Rakesh Roushan, Additional SP (Headquarters) Rakesh Reddy and other officers are taking stock of the situation.
The entire road stretch and other potential areas have been brought under heavy security cover.
