GUWAHATI, May 4 � The Bhumi Adhikar Sangram Samittee, Assam, on Monday slammed the Tarun Gogoi government for failing to give land patta despite promises made during the elections.
The Samittee, in a statement said the government has betrayed 25 lakh patta-less families in the State.
The Samittee staged a demonstration at Dighalipukhuripar today protesting the apathy of the government towards the patta-less families.
