State Minister escapes unhurt

RANGIYA, June 6 - State Food, Civil Supply and Consumer Affairs Minister Phani Bhusan Choudhury had a narrow escape when the car in which he was travelling was hit by an escort vehicle at Udiana near Rangiya this evening. A police team later reached the spot and arranged a separate car for the Minister. Immediately after the incident, people assembled and tried to rescue the Minister. It is learnt that the Minister was on an official visit.
