OKRAJHAR, Oct 29 - Rituraj Sarma and Ritwick Sinha of Don Bosco School, Panbazar, Guwahati stood first in the senior category of the �Bharat Ko Jano� State-level quiz competition, 2018 conducted by the Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Assam Prant here at Kokrajhar on Sunday. Arman Afif and Krishti Nayana Nath of Don Bosco School, Panbazar, Guwahati won the competition in the junior category.
In the senior group, two teams from the Sainik School Goalpara got the second and third positions respectively while in the junior group Sainik School Goalpara stood second and St Joseph�s Convent School, Tezpur secured the third position.
Twenty-four teams from different districts of Assam participated in competition. The winners will represent Assam at the regional level Bharat Ko Jano quiz competition 2018 scheduled to be held on November 11 next at Manipur.
Earlier, an inaugural session was held at the Neel Kamal Brahma Auditorium Hall, Science College, Kokrajhar where the Inspector General of Police, BTAD, Anurag Agarwal attended as the chief guest. BVP State president Anil Sharma, general secretary Santlal Mittal, retired DIG, CRPF, Kabiranjan Brahma, Kokrajhar unit president of BVP Ajit Kr Brahma among others also attended the programme.
The State-level Bharat Ko Jano quiz competition 2018 was hosted by the Bharat Vikas Parishad, Kokrajhar branch and quiz master Abhra Das conducted the event.
