Sri Sundarmal School champions

SIVASAGAR, March 7 - Sri Sundarmal Modern School became champions in the Zangam organised 26th AP Rao-Khireswar Dutta school cricket tourney, played here today.

Sundarmal defeated Markarz Academy of Nazira by 4 wickets. The Markarz boys scored 158/9 in the stipulated 30 overs. Kaushik Ranjan Das scored 38. In reply, Chinmoy Borgohain (47) and Prateek Agarwalla�s (35) responsible knock helped Sri Sundarmal School to reached the target (161/6) in 28.1 overs. In the closing function, anchored by Manoj Bhagawati, the prizes were distributed by Abdul Jalil, Inspector of Schools, sports organisers Haren Dwarah, Samanta Ghosh, Sadhon Chanda, Pranjal Dutta, and Farooq Hasan.
