GUWAHATI, Oct 18 - City based Bir Chilarai Sports Club felicitated 35 sportspersons including organisers, coaches and scribes among others on the occasion of the 119th birth anniversary of Singhapurush Radha Govinda Baruah in a function held at the RG Baruah Sports Complex here yesterday.
The felicitation meeting was chaired by Jugal Kumar Saikia where Dispur MLA Atul Bora was present as chief guest.
Earlier, the club along with Directorate of Sports and Sports Authority of Assam paid floral tributes to the architect of modern Assam on his bust.
