SILCHAR Oct 6: Noted educationist and sports administrator of Barak Valley Samarendra Bhattacharjee (72) was found brutally murdered in his Shillongpatty residence on Friday midnight around 12.05 am.
According to police, the alleged murderer Sanjay Acharjee, who was care taker, was arrested from Tarapur hours after the incident.
