Skill awareness workshop held

GUWAHATI, Nov 8 - Under the aegis of the Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM), a Skill Awareness Workshop for Training Partners (TPs) and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) of Training Centres was held at Srimanta Sarkaradeva Kalakshetra Auditorium here today.

Addressing the Training Partners of Training Centres from the district level, Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary called upon the TPs to deliver their work honestly and sincerely. �TPs should be the guardians of the trainees and must motivate them to get skilled and stand on their own feet,� he said.

Replying to the queries and feedback of the TPs, Patowary also assured bank linkages with Training Centres for availing Mudra loans in the MSME sector.

He also distributed certificates of appreciation to the three best District Project Manager (Training) of ASDM � Rajib Narayan Kalita, Lakhimpur and Biswanath; Aniruddha Borpujari, Sivasagar and Charaideo, and Antarikhya Bora, Jorhat and Majuli.

Anand Prakash Tiwari, Mission Director, ASDM, stated that registration, attendance, billing, biometric attendance along with face recognition of each Training Centres would be integrated with Online Management Information System (MIS) from January 2020.
