Sikkim CM meets Sonowal

GUWAHATI, Aug 3 - Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang today met his Assam counterpart, Sarbananda Sonowal, at the latter�s office at Janata Bhawan here and discussed a range of issues, including organic farming and tourism.

The meeting, which lasted for nearly 15 minutes, focused on issues for promotion of tourism in both the States. Tamang took note of the government schemes in Assam and hailed Sonowal�s leadership in successfully implementing schemes for the welfare of the people.

Sonowal also lauded the Sikkim Government in transforming the State into an organic hub and implementing the Swachh Bharat campaign successfully, a release stated.
