GUWAHATI, Jan 16 - As a tribute to cultural legend Jyoti Prasad Agarwala, Shilpi Divas programme would be organised by the All Guwahati Students� Union (AGSU) and Kamrup Natya Samity at Kumar Bhaskar Natya Mandir, Uzanbazar here tomorrow.
Eminent educationist Dr Amarjyoti Choudhury will inaugurate the programme.
Aaror Manuh Gorakiloi Kritagyata (Gratitude to the person behind the scene) � a special programme to be held during the Shilpi Divas celebration � would honour the better halves of eminent deceased artistes, including Purushottam Das, Rudra Barua, Durgeswar Borthakur, Mahendra Borthakur, Ishan Barua, Kshiradakanta Bishaya, Dhiru Bhuyan, Sarbeswar Chakrabarty, Jibeshwar Chakrabarty, Shaila Barua, Mahanada Sarma, Rasheswar Saikia Borbayan, Niren Barua, Charu Gohain, Ridip Dutta, Mahananda Mazindar Barua, Nalini Choudhury, Altaf Mazid, OP Nayar, Dhrubajyoti Kishor Choudhury and Ashim Hazarika.
Joymoti, the first Assamese film, would also be screened on the occasion.
