Senior AGP leader passes away

NAGAON, March 12 - Minu Bora, a leading social activist and senior leader of the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) of Nagaon, passed away at her Uttar Haiborgaon residence yesterday due to prolonged illness. She was 88.

Bora leaves behind a son, two daughters and a host of relatives. Several leaders, including former Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta,�State Water Resources Minister Keshab Mahanta, former Minister Girindra Kumar Boruah, AGP district president Atul Medhi, as well as the All Assam Students� Union and the Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad condoled the death of Bora.
