Section 144 CrPC imposed in Baksa dist

MUSHALPUR, March 22 � In view of the ensuing BTC polls, the Baksa district administration has imposed some restrictions in Baksa district under Section 144 CrPC.

Driving vehicles without licence and number plates, open sale of petrol and diesel, sale of any kind of liquor, pillion riding, writing on the wall of shops and public institutions, opening of polling offices without due permission from the authority, movement of people in public places after 8 pm without proper reason, organising election rally or meeting without permission from the authority and movement of surrendered ultras outside their offices has been banned with effect from March 16. Further, the VIP�s will require prior permission from the authorities for using additional vehicles. Violation of these orders will result in legal action against the offenders, official sources said.
