GUWAHATI, Oct 25 - Keeping in tune with the nationwide movement of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and for making the country free from single-use plastic, an attempt was made by the Secretariat Administration (Nazarat) Department to create awareness among the Assam Secretariat employees by organizing a slogan writing competition among them.
M Angamuthu, Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Secretariat Administration Department, distributed trophies and certificates to the winners of the competition at his office chamber on October 24.
Appreciating the efforts of all the participants, Dr Angamuthu said this type of activities help in encouraging the people towards environment conservation.
