Seal Indo-Myanmar border: Moreh club

IMPHAL, March 7 - Residents of Moreh town along the Indo-Myanmar border have demanded sealing of the international border in view of the coronavirus scare raging all over the world.

Considering Myanmar�s proximity with China, the epicentre of the dreaded disease, the Moreh Consumers� Club today demanded total sealing of the Indo-Myanmar border to check the possible spread of the disease in the State.

�The Indo-Myanmar border must be sealed before the virus spreads in the State,� club president T Seiboy Haokip said on behalf of the residents of the border town.

A PTI report from Imphal adds: A man with symptoms of �fever and cough� has been kept in isolation at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences in Imphal as a precautionary measure, Health officials said today.
