GUWAHATI, Oct 5 - Baksa Deputy Commissioner Bhaskar Pegu on Wednesday inaugurated a tailoring and stitching centre supported by the State Bank of India Foundation, Mumbai, under its flagship project SBI Gram Seva implemented by the Assam Centre for Rural Development, an NGO, working on developmental issues. The centre, �SBI-Prerna� has been set up to provide training to the backward and poor women in the district for helping them earn their livelihood, a press release said.
