GUWAHATI, Aug 11 - Industries and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary mourned the demise of spiritual leader and scholar, satradhikar of Sri Sri Natun Kamalabari Satra, Majuli, Dr Narayan Chandra Goswami, who breathed his last at a hospital here today.
In a condolence message, Patowary said, �Satradhikar Narayan Chandra Goswami of Natun Kamalabari Satra, Majuli was an erudite scholar of Brajawali and Sanskrit languages. His works and contributions are a treasure trove of Satriya literature and culture. His demise is an irreparable loss to our society.�
Media advisor and legal advisor to the Chief Minister Hrishikesh Goswami and Santanu Bharali respectively also mourned the demise of the spiritual leader.
State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass also mourned the death of Goswami.
