GUWAHATI, July 7 - The Asam Sahitya Sabha has condoled the demise of litterateur Dr Durgeswar Sarma. The Sabha, expressing deep sorrow, said that the death of the litterateur is a loss for the Sabha and society at large. The Sabha also recalled the contribution of Dr Sarma towards the enrichment of Assamese literature.
The Sabha also expressed grief at the death of another of its member, Guneswar Sarma. The Sabha extended its sympathies to the bereaved family.
