TURA, July 18 - Police today rearrested an under trial prisoner (UTP) who had escaped from prison on Wednesday last. Tengrik Marak was apprehended from near Dadenggre village in West Garo Hills.
He fled from jail when he was being sanitized after he was brought back from court on Wednesday.
Five police personnel were placed under suspension in this connection.
