GUWAHATI, Sept 21 - The Rotaract Club of the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) was formed at a ceremony held in Dr NK Chaudhury auditorium at the varsity campus recently, a press release stated.
The ceremony was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Guwahati.
The certificate of organisation was presented to the new Rotaract Club by president GN Khound and other leaders of the Rotary Club of Guwahati.
As many as 35 students of different departments of the university were present during the ceremony.
Rotarian B Das, administrative officer of the USTM, addressed the gathering.
After presenting the certificate to the president and the secretary of the newly formed Rotaract Club, the Rotarians met USTM Chancellor M Hoque and apprised him of the humanitarian services rendered by the Rotary Clubs all over the world.
