UDALGURI, Oct 8 � Five times champion Assam Rifles set up title clash with SSB, Siliguri in the 17th Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Gold Cup Football Tournament.
The Riflemen today got the better of Langsining Club of Shillong 2-0 in the second semifinal at the Udalguri Stadium here.
The first session of the well contested encounter resulted no goal despite all out effort from either sides. Over coming the inclement weather condition both the teams took control of the situation immediately after getting down to business.
In second session Santa Singh drew the first blood in the 65th minute with a sharp header off a floater from Abel Sema. After three minutes Bulu Jigdung rounded the table with a beautiful goal.
