TEZPUR, Oct 6 - A research scholar was found dead at the CV Raman Hostel of Tezpur University last night. Sources said Kankan Kalita, a professor of Central Institute of Technology in Kokrajhar and a resident of Gormara in Jorhat, joined Tezpur University in July for research work in computer science. The cause of death has not been known yet. Meanwhile, family members informed police and the university authorities that Kalita was suffering from epilepsy.
