However, Dhubri, Goalpara and Morigaon were put in the Orange Zone category. The Centre will shortly categorize Bongaigaon in one of the zones after five cases were detected in the district, Sarma said.

The Health Minister further said the State government is making a strategy to bring back people stranded outside the State.

The Chief Minister will chair a meeting to chalk out a strategy, Sarma said.

He, however, indicated that the State would first try to bring back those stranded in other NE States.

We may ply buses to Shillong, Dimapur, Itanagar or even Kolkata and Siliguri for the purpose. However, all will not be brought back at the same time. We also need to plan out the quarantine strategy of those who will return, Sarma said.

The State government is contemplating on using trains to bring people from far off States where sending of buses is not feasible.

The State is planning to bring back some 2.5 lakh people stranded outside the State in a months time.
