Ram Madhav urges people to build �New India�

IMPHAL, Sept 13 - Pointing at the prevailing corruption, blind beliefs and illiteracy in the country, BJP national secretary Ram Madhav has appealed to the people to �feel the pain of the present and work to reform the present�.

Ram Madhav, who is also director of India Foundation, said that that people should become stakeholders to transform the country into a �New India�.

The BJP leader was speaking at the �Swami Chinmayananda Memorial Lecture� held at INA Memorial Hall, Moirang in south Manipur on Monday. The memorial lecture was organised by Chinmaya Mission.

He mentioned that in the next five years, India would become poverty free and corruption free country.

Speaking on the occasion, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh said that people should think what we can contribute for the development and welfare of the nation.
