GUWAHATI, Sept 22 (PTI) - AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi will pay a one-day visit to Assam tomorrow where he will interact with students of IIT-Guwahati and Assam Central University at Silchar.
Gandhi would arrive at 10:30 am at Silchar and fly by a chopper to the university campus, where he would interact for about an hour with 250 students of the varsity and 12 other local colleges before flying to Guwahati, NSUI members said.
From Guwahati airport he would go by helicopter to the IIT in northern part of the capital at around 2:30 pm and would interact with the students there.
He would fly back to Delhi on the same day.
Organisers NSUI said they have no information about whether Gandhi would meet the press or media be allowed to cover the interactive sessions at both the elite educational institutions.
