GUWAHATI, Feb 17 � On the occasion of XIX Commonwealth Games 2010, the Queen�s Baton Relay will be held in Assam from July 19 to 21. For smooth conduct of this event in Assam, the Government of Assam has constituted a State-level committee under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary of Assam with Director of Sports & Youth Welfare as member secretary and 24 other senior civil, police and Army officials along with renowned sports personalities of the State as the members of the committee, a release stated.
