GUWAHATI, Oct 15 � The Brihattar Bhetapara Sarbajanin Durga Puja Samiti distributed food stuff and garments worth Rs 30,000 among the flood-affected villagers in Dirima area under Boko revenue circle recently.
An entire village comprising 80 families was totally devastated by the recent flood, said a press statement, adding, another active voluntary organisation for the welfare of women and children, Alakananda, also cooperated.
