TURA, Aug 29 - Police had a short skirmish with alleged Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) militants near Paromgre village in South Garo Hills today. The exchange of fire lasted a few minutes but there were no casualties from either side. Later, a search operation was carried out by police in the area of clash.
