Police distribute free rations

JORABAT, April 8 - Amid the nationwide lockdown in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, Jorabat Traffic Police today distributed rations to poor people who are struggling to earn a single meal a day.

The police team led Jorabat Traffic Police in-charge Gopal Bora, distributed rations to 50 daily wage workers and other needy families in Jorabat area.

�This kind gesture and the helping hand extended to us during this time of struggle amid the lockdown, is really appreciable and will always be remembered,� said a woman while receiving the ration.

Relief materials distributed included rice, potato, edible oil, pulses, onion and salt. Soap was also provided.
