TURA, Aug 2 - Garo Hills witnessed the first Pradhan Mantri Ujala Yojana (PMUY) cum awareness Mela at Rajabala village in West Garo Hills district where free gas connections were given to BPL families.
The event was organised by Chenasa Gas Agency, the main distributor of LPG connections in Dadenggre region.
The event yesterday was attended by more than 300 BPL families and IOC representatives.
