DIMAPUR, March 2 - The NSCN-IM said on Monday that Zeilad National Workers� Conference was held recently in Tamenglong.
�In the context of the ongoing Indo-Naga political talks being at the threshold of signing the final agreement, the Zeilad National Workers� Conference was organised under the aegis of Zeilad Region of National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) at Phungong Catholic Ground in Tamenglong under the theme: �Towards a New Era,� said a press statement signed by George Golmei, Central Administrative Officer (CAO) of Zeilad Region of the NSCN-IM.
Besides the Naga political issue, the conference deliberated on wide ranging socio-economic issues facing the �Rongmeis today�, the statement also said.
