GUWAHATI, July 6 � NRHM, Assam has bagged four national awards for presenting good health indicators in the categories of institutional deliveries, outpatient services, indoor and surgical services and malaria control in the country, stated an official press release.
The national NRHM awards were announced for 2009-11 by Additional Secretary and Mission Director, NRHM, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Anuradha Gupta at the concluding day of the national summit on �Best Practices and Innovations in Public Healthcare� held in Srinagar recently.
Bihar bagged the maximum five awards, followed by Maharashtra, Odisha and Assam with four awards each.
